He needs to get the other half of the Philosopher's Legacy. He needs to find out who gave the orders for The Boss' mission in the first place. But if he's really been thrown fifty years in the future, doesn't that mean that they're all dead?

Well, the place you're at right now is neither America or Russia. It's somewhere else entirely called "Johto". You're not the only one who was suddenly taken from their home- almost everyone you talk to on the PokeGear is the same. But we're all from different places. Some of them seem to be more 'normal' than others, so you may want to keep an open mind.

Not only different places but, as you probably guessed already, different times. It's extremely strange.

Considering they're going to be the ones who will help protect you while you travel, unfortunately them getting hurt is a bit unavoidable... But that's what the PokeCenters are for. There isn't one in New Bark Town, unfortunately, but the next town over, Cherrygrove, should have one. The nurses there will help your Pokemon recover for free. It's very kind of them.

The books in your bag should tell you everything else you need to know! Of course, I'm more than happy to help if you have any questions they can't answer. Being in a strange place with no idea of what's going on... isn't the most pleasant of experiences. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Well, being kidnapped from 1964 and brought to 2014 is a new one but I've been in plenty of odd situations before and I'm certain this won't be the last of them once I get home.

Many people do seem to be sent home eventually, although the process seems random from what I've heard. I've been doing my best to try and look things up but I haven't honestly found anything.

It is. I've been wondering if something to do with some local ruins might be involved, but that isn't exactly my area of expertise I'm afraid.

They're called the Ruins of Alph. You'll find them near Violet City!

It's a bit of a journey, but I've heard it's a very interesting place with unique Pokemon.
