[That was true. Volgin seemed to have finally snapped once he realized what Snake did to Raikov. Why Snake had a mask of him, he'll never know. He hadn't given it much thought and preferred not to now. That was so long ago.

Raikov remains silent for a minute or so. Even after 6 years, it still stings.]

Well, I do have a question, then.

I've already gathered that this is some sort of magical land full of colorful animals. That much is apparent. My question is why there are ghosts you can use in this place.

[And he moves the screen a bit to show off the Duskull floating behind him, looking extremely disapproving of the entire conversation.]

[That's a bit unnerving. Raikov decides to register it in his pokedex before deciding an answer]

If it's a Pokémon, I assume ghost is an elemental type and that's why.
