001 Shot Fired [text; action for Rocket Base]

I'm going to list a series of words.

If they are at all familiar to you please respond otherwise dismiss this.

Cold War
Spetsnaz
Lyndon B. Johnson
Nikita Khrushchev
Tselinoyarsk

[About an hour later on the Rocket frequency:]

My name is Adamska. Code name Ocelot. Call me either. I'm a GRU Major if that means anything to any of you.

I would like to speak with whomever is in charge here.

[The clues were giving him all kinds of strange nostalgic feelings. This guy was from the Cold War, as he knew all about Spetsnaz and Nikita Khruschev.]

I'm guessing you're a Soviet, as you seem to know a lot about the Soviet Union. Are you trying to find other soldiers like yourself?

[Otacon had heard about Tselinoyark from when Big Boss was around. Wasn't that when Big Boss and the Boss were working together? Or, when she apparently feigned defection to rise up against Colonel Volgin at Groznyj Grad?]

Wasn't there a fortress called Groznyj Grad there? [Oh God. Who was this guy he was speaking to? Surely not someone who had died there? Or possibly got out of prison? Or someone who had escaped altogether. Now, he was intrigued.]

[This is the part which could become tricky.]

You won't know me I wouldn't think. My name is Otacon. [A pause.] What's yours?

[Adamska? So, he was Russian at least. That he knew of now. The name was enough proof to answer some of Otacon's curiosity. Yet, so many questions remained unanswered.]

What is the year you last remember being in?

Ah, so you believe it's still 1964 now? Well, actually it's not. Not here anyway. It's 2014.

I wasn't trying to insult you. [Geez. Why did this Russian have to be so grouchy? Maybe he was just out of his depth and alone. Otacon could understand that.]

I suppose you already know where you are too then. Johto. This world is inhabited by creatures called Pokémon. Do you have a starter?

[If only he knew.]

Ah, Duskull. I've not met one of those before. [He pulled up his Pokedex and ran through until he found the ghost type. It looked rather odd and sort of spooky.]

What moves does he have do you know?

Are they both offensive moves or are some defensive? [Because Otacon would love to know.]

Ah, I see. I like a mixture of both offensive and defensive, as I find both can work to the Pokémon's advantage during a battle. Ghost type usually means that the move is suited to a ghost type Pokémon. Duskull is a ghost type Pokémon, so his moves will generally be ones of that nature.

There are quite a few. They should all be listed on your PokeGear under the Pokedex section. You should check it out to read about the different types and understand your Duskull a little better.

You're welcome. It's worth taking some time to really study the PokeGear and discover new Pokémon along the way. Making friends is good too.
